Our story
Dolce Ville took a long road to River North. We’re a husband and wife who came to Chicago from Kyrgyzstan, built careers in tech, and raised three kids here — all while exploring this city’s restaurants on every night out we could find. Somewhere along the way, we decided to open one of our own.
Then we met Chef Alex, who has spent years cooking in kitchens in Europe and here in Chicago. We shared one belief: great Italian food takes patience — dough made by hand, sauces given time, and a room where nobody rushes you.
Where we come from, a guest at your table is the most important person in the room. That’s the welcome we want you to feel here.
Dolce Ville is our play on la dolce vita — a little of the sweet life, right in the middle of the city. Benvenuti.
